ANSWER FOR TRADEME MEMBER Madeley
We suggest the following: A really good cleanser - e.g special cleansing gel 250ml $56.00 which we sell in the dermalogica range, Glycolic chemical peel 20% - start with one layer then you can progress to 2 or more layers once your skin adjusts to the peel. the other option would be for a clarifying cleanser 200ml $50.00 in the murad range which we also sell. Because you have mentioned that you will be recieving microdermabrasion we do not recommend using glycolic peel at least one week before you are due to have microdermabrasion done. You definately need a professional quality cleanser as this seems to be something you are missing from your skin care routine. A mask 1-2 times a week is great to draw out impurities too so you are on the right track there. You should find that once you start cleansing twice a day your skin will improve. The glycolic peel will draw out the acne from your skin so it sometimes can look worse, but we want the skin to clear up so this is a good thing. Also it comes down to your budget - our aim to is to provide the best product suitable for clients skin types and problems they want to rectify. At least start with the basics - good quality cleanser, exfoliant, moisturiser. then you can add other products to your skin care routine. You will find that even though professional products are a bit more expensive than store bought products - you will actually use less because it is more concentrated and you only need very small amounts. I hope this has answered all of your questions and please just ask Milana to put an auction up for you if you wish to purchase a product from us. Thank you Rachel Brown, Medical Aesthetic Practitioner
